I am a graduate of Pratt Institute, where I earned a degree in nutrition and dietetics. I earned a master’s degree in environmental health science from Hunter College – City University of New York and a doctorate in public health, with a focus on community and family health from the University of South Florida. My work experience has been broad. My most recent experience being the Community Health Director of a local Florida health department since 2005. Prior to that I was the co-director of the State of Florida, public health dietetic internship and public health nutrition consultant. I am a registered dietitian, and I have worked in various clinical, governmental and private practice settings in this capacity. I have taught in graduate and undergraduate programs for several years. I enjoy working with individuals and groups to assist them in achieving their health goals. I want clients to enjoy what they eat and empower them to make the best choices even when faced with the challenges of an illness.
